Enduro Genetics is a growing biotech company, transforming industrial biotech and precision fermentation. We specialize in strain engineering and bioprocess to significantly improve strain stability andthe performance and scalability of fermentation-based bioprocesses for our clients.
We are looking for talented and highly motivated student assistants with a passion for molecular biology and/or bioprocess technology and a strong desire to learn. In the job you will assist laboratory projects with tasks including preparation of cultivation media, chemical solutions and cultivation equipment, sampling of bioreactors and deep-well plates and performance of various analytical methods.
You are ideally 2-3 years into your university degree within biotechnology or biochemistry. You are well-organized, a team-player and good at documenting your work. Prior experience with aseptic work,microbial cultivation (yeast and/or bacteria) in plate, shake flask, and benchtop fermenter and strain engineering is an advantage.
We offer an exciting work environment, providing hands-on experience with microbial bioproduction and genetic engineering and an opportunity to grow your talent within a rising company.
Working hours are on average 7-20 hours per week, with a high degree of flexibility from both sides, and plans typically settled 3-4 weeks in advance. Tasks may include weekend work.
Our team consists of about 30 people with labs and offices are centrally located at the BioInnovation Institute in Copenhagen N.
