Enduro Genetics is pushing the interface of synthetic biology and biomanufacturing with Enduro Sense, a transformative gene technology that redefines the capabilities of cells in fermentation. Enduro Sense is used for cell-based expression systems and production strains to deliver higher titer, rate and yields, making biomanufacturing more efficient and scalable.
As we expand to meet growing client demands, we are seeking a results-driven and people-oriented Project Manager to oversee our microbial strain engineering projects with clients.

Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor high-performing R&D teams to drive project success.
Develop and implement research strategies to meet key milestones.
Oversee client projects to ensure timely progress and impactful results.
Collaborate with scientists of all levels to deliver on project timelines and deliverables.
Provide expert technical guidance to support project outcomes.
What You Bring:
Education: PhD in Synthetic Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related discipline.
Industry Experience: 7+ years in microbial strain engineering, with corporate expertise in pharmaceutical or industrial bioprocesses.
Technical Expertise:
Strong background in production strain technology, recombinant protein expression, or metabolite production.
Proven track-record in developing microbial strains for bioprocesses.
Leadership: Exceptional project management skills, including team mentorship and development.
Analytical and Communicative: Ability to solve complex problems and communicate effectively incl. in written and oral presentations.
Adaptability: Capacity to excel in a dynamic, fast-growing organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading agile R&D teams.
Technical strain engineering experience in Bacillus, E. coli, Corynebacterium or yeasts (Pichia, S. cerevisiae etc)
Familiarity with corporate bioprocess development workflows.
Knowledge of Design of Experiments (DoE), small-scale automation, and fermentation science.
Background in pharmaceutical GMP environments.
Relevant experience from e.g. a CDMO or CRO on delivering projects with clients or collaboration partners
